Our Lord has mightily used Pastor Luke McFarland to establish His work through the ‘Haven of Rest’- a full gospel Christian church.
A man dedicated to prayer, Pastor Luke McFarland has been called by God into ministry after extended periods of intercession and devotion to the Lord. It was in prayer the living God revealed His timely plan to Pastor Luke McFarland to establish the Haven of Rest in August 2008. |

Having lived in
India, the Middle East and New Zealand, Pastor Luke McFarland spent
much time with many powerful men and women of God each of whom the
Lord used throughout the years to mould him to shepherd His flock.
Having a career profession in IT and being previously employed in
General Management of a well known logistics company, it is evident
that Pastor Luke McFarland is commissioned by the great “I am” to
preach the good news of the Gospel to this end time world. His heavy
burden for the perishing soul is coupled with his passion to see every
servant of the King living a victorious and abundant life [“...I have
come that they may have life, and that they may have it [life] more
abundantly” John 10:10].
Pastor Luke McFarland and his wife,
Christine, reside in Melbourne and have been married for 7 years. God
has blessed them with three beautiful children. As individuals and as
a family, the McFarland’s are a living testimony of Gods’ grace and
supernatural provision in the lives of all those who diligently seek
Him and their passion is for all others to experience God’s all
abounding love.
